Biography

Dr. Md. Abu Raihan is currently working as Head of the Department of Technical and Vocational Education (TVE) of Islamic University of Technology (IUT), Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has 13+ years of working experience in IUT of which Four years as Associate Professor, Six years as Assistant Professor and Three years as Lecturer. Dr. Md. Abu Raihan has achieved the Korean Government Scholarship (KGS) for pursuing Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and awarded the Degree Ph.D. in Technical Education from Kongju National University (KNU), South Korea. With the full-scholarship of OIC, Dr. Md. Abu Raihan achieved the Degree Post-Graduate Diploma & M.Sc. in Technical Education with Specialization in Production Engineering from TVE Department and the Degree B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Mechanical and Chemical Engineering (MCE) Department of IUT with First Class. He completed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Examination by obtained First Class Star-Marks and esteemed by ‘Stood First Award’ from the N.S. Government College, Natore, Bangladesh. He successfully completed Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Exam from NGBHS, Natore with First Class in 1996. Dr. Md. Abu Raihan has involvement in supervising and examining Ph.D. & Master’s thesis. He has been working as a popular course teacher of Methods & Techniques of Teaching and Educational Technology since 2005. Since the year, he has been working as a Technical Teachers’ Trainer, Resource Person, Coordinator, and Manager of international Seminar, workshop and conference. Dr. Md. Abu Raihan is currently working of international reputed journals and also as member of editorial board. He is also a Member of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB), Member of Bangladesh Society of Mechanical Engineers (BSME), Member of UNESCO-UNEVOC e-Forum, and Member of International Society for Development and Sustainability (ISDS), Japan. He is a Scholar of National Institute for International Education (NIIED), South Korea and Alumni Member of Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP).
